Synopsis
Detective Harlow expects a routine arrest. What he finds instead is a man who speaks with unsettling insight about compassion, power, and the quiet desperation that drives people to seek hope from strangers.
What happens next defies everything he believes.
Director's Statement
I first came to Wings as a reader and immediately connected to Sameer Ketkar's script. As both director and producer, I wanted the film to feel lived in rather than heightened tension emerging through conversation and performance rather than spectacle.
Detective Harlow is deeply human. Overworked, burned out, yet still carrying a quiet thread of hope. Sorel remains mysterious. Their interaction is designed so the audience observes both without taking sides.
Wings is about encountering something that challenges certainty without offering clarity and sitting with that, rather than being given answers.
